Lada dealers will not install this option on released models
A method for activating cruise control on the Lada Vesta NG was recently found. This feature is currently not available on the new generation Lada Vesta, although it is officially reported that it will appear later.
The AvtoVAZ plant clarified that Lada dealers will not install this option on previously released models. However, independent experts have developed a way to activate this function on their own.
Previously, the factory stated that cruise control and speed limiter are directly dependent on the presence of the ESP system in the car, and therefore they cannot be activated. However, specialists from «Club Lada Vesta» Lada.Online reported that the ESP stabilization system is not required for these functions to work. To activate cruise control, a speed signal is required, which can be received, for example, from the ABS sensor via the CAN bus.
Activation of cruise control and speed limiter is possible using special firmware of the electronic engine unit and panel. At the same time, the Lada Vesta NG should be in the Techno configuration with an LCD instrument cluster. Experts offer this service in a number of cities in Russia and Kazakhstan.
