The cooling system with 8 heat pipes is designed to handle up to 205 W
The announcement of the Minisforum HX200G gaming mini-PC took place at CES 2024 at the beginning of the year, but then almost nothing was said about it. Now the device has been presented in China, and, finally, all the details have been revealed (except for the price — it will be announced on May 20, when pre-sales start).
It’s interesting that after a couple of months the HX200G — this is no longer Minisforum, but AtomMan: the device is being promoted under a new sub-brand.
The computer is equipped with a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor with a maximum frequency of up to 5.4 GHz and a Radeon RX7600M XT 3D accelerator. The system, which includes eight heat pipes, is responsible for heat removal; it is designed for 205 W.
The AtomMan HX200G is one of the rare mini PCs with an M.2 connector connected to four PCIe 5.0 lanes. There are two slots for installing DDR5-5600 RAM modules, the maximum amount of RAM — 64 GB.
Dimensions and weight of AtomMan HX200G — 195 x 122 x 52 mm and 1.5 kg respectively. The side panel features customizable RGB lighting (and what gaming PC would be without it?).
The ports include USB-C and three USB 3.0 Type-A, DP 2.0, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet adapters.
