The Elder Scrolls VI was announced quite a long time ago, but there is still no game. After meeting Starfield, many had concerns about the future of Bethesda's project
March 25, 2024 Bethesda celebrated the 30th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls series (TES Arena release). In honor of this, the developers released a message to fans.
At the same time, we remembered the development of The Elder Scrolls VI. The project was announced quite a long time ago, but so far there is no talk of reaching an advanced stage of development. Nevertheless, there is still some progress – TES VI is at the stage of early builds.
According to the creators, they are already playing early builds of The Elder Scrolls VI:
“…Last but not least, yes, we are developing the next chapter – The Elder Scrolls VI. Even now, returning to Tamriel and playing the early builds, we feel the same joy, excitement and anticipation of adventure.”

The Elder Scrolls VI was announced back in 2018. During this time, Bethesda managed to release a game based on the new Starfield franchise, which received mixed reviews – not everyone appreciated the approach to content generation proposed by the developers, and were also not happy with the numerous downloads that disrupted the immersion in the game’s universe.
