Including half a million cars
Wuling Motors announced today that SAIC-GM-Wuling's full-year 2023 sales totaled 1,403,066 vehicles (trucks and cars), a company record. Tesla sold about 1.3 million cars last year.
In addition, it was announced that vehicle sales in December totaled 201,666 units, up 26% from the previous month.
The annual sales volume of SAIC-GM-Wuling passenger cars in 2023 will be 500,232 units. Specifically mentioned are 16,864 units of Wuling Starlight, 237,863 units of Hongguang MINIEV and 231,102 units of Wuling Bingo.
SAIC-GM-Wuling's annual sales volume of commercial vehicles in 2023 was 639,681 units, with sales of the entire mini-vehicle series totaling 400,159 units, ranking first in the mini-vehicle segment for 12 consecutive years. Recall that Hongguang MINIEV has been one of the best-selling electric vehicles in China since its introduction on the market.
