“It’s already clear that they won’t fit into this price” – “Russian Automobile” claims that the newest Largus will cost closer to 3 million rubles

We are talking about a model with an electric motor

The start of production of the Lada Largus at a new site in Izhevsk is expected in less than a week, as reported by Russian Automobile, which claims that the price of the car has increased even before the start of sales.

The start of Largus production is scheduled in Izhevsk for May 15th. This year's plan – 30,000 cars. Plus about 500 electric Largus. In 2025, though, there will be as many as 3,000 electric vehicles. At first they talked about the retail price of e-Largus at 2.5 million rubles, but it is already clear that they will not fit into this price. More likely, it will be something closer to 3 million. But even this price – subsidized, it is lower than the real cost if we are talking about 3000 copies. So they can add up to 2.5 million, and just walk around like that.

It should be added that production of e-Largus will start only in the summer; there is no more exact date yet.

Two weeks ago it became known that Russian dealers had no Lada Largus cars left in stock. Mass production of the Lada Largus ceased more than two years ago, while in August last year AvtoVAZ released the last batch, which included 650 station wagons and vans. Until the spring of this year, cars could still be found in showrooms, and they were offered at a price much higher than 2 million rubles, but now all stocks have been sold out.

2023 station wagons and vans were equipped with 90-horsepower 1.6-liter engines and were available only in the basic configuration.
