Paradox Interactive's answer to Civilization is off to mixed reviews on Steam. Problematic release of Millennia

Millennia seems to have become a typical modern release. Paradox Interactive once again failed to ensure a smooth launch

Millennia was released on Steam. Paradox Interactive's new game has been compared by many to Sid Meier's Civilization franchise.

Millennia began to receive reviews on Steam, many of them negative: players are not very happy with the technical state of the project. If you believe the description, then the game should be online, but in practice the servers do not work; as one of those dissatisfied with such a launch under the nickname DieVer writes:

«Another obs*r at launch…

What time…

Online doesn’t work, but in 2024 you can play in turns through hamachi.

I bought the game, you play in 2 years, minimum<3“.

Also, Millennia has a problem that is not obvious to some users: Italians want to get a translation into their native language and speak out through negative reviews.

Paradox Interactive's answer to Civilization is off to mixed reviews on Steam. Problematic release of Millennia

Millennia is billed as a historical turn-based 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate) game that will “test your strategic thinking. You will have 10,000 years to lead your people from the dawn of humanity into the distant future. Direct the story in the direction you want and experience new scenarios in each playthrough“.
