Stellantis is showing interest in the Chery E0X platform
Yesterday, Chairman of the Board of Chery Automobile Yin Tongyao announced that several European auto brands are showing interest in the Chery E0X platform — the same one on which the Exeed Exlantix ES sedan and the Exeed Exlantix ET crossover are built. Yin Tongyao did not name these brands, but details emerged today.
The Chinese resource Cheshi, citing its own sources, reported that the Stellantis alliance is showing interest in the Chery E0X and we are talking about two European (more precisely, Italian) brands — Maserati and Alfa Romeo. That’s how highly Stellantis values the capabilities of both the platform itself and Chery’s development as a whole.
Which Maserati and Alfa Romeo cars will be built on the Chery E0X, one can only guess for now. But the first Exeed models on this platform are quite large: both the crossover and the sedan are almost 5 meters long.
Recall that five days ago the first electric car debuted Alfa Romeo— crossover Milano.
