CO also uses a copper plate and graphite films
The Phone Repair Guru channel was one of the first to publish a video with disassembly of the new 13-inch iPad Pro on SoC M4.
You can see the internal layout of the tablet, which, as always with Apple, looks very neat. Battery capacity — 39.99 W·h or 10,209 mA·h. To cool the latest SoC M4, a copper plate is used and at first glance that’s all. However, it is not. On the other side of the board, a graphite film is glued to the case, through which the Apple logo comes into contact with the board from the inside. And the highlight is that it is copper. That is, this is also part of the cooling.
Of course, we have yet to get the new MacBooks on the M4 to compare, as far as possible, the performance of the new platform with active cooling and passive cooling, like in the iPad Pro.
