According to Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft's gaming division, the service is showing major growth on PCs.
The number of subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass service has reached 34 million souls. Gaming heads only briefly mentioned this figure during a recent podcast, but in another interview, Phil Spencer noted that it was “real people“, “paying money”, and not those who connected to the service as part of promotions or using gift coupons.
Spencer was also asked to clarify did he add Live Gold subscribers to Game Pass subscribers, who were forcibly transferred to Game Pass Core last year, and the Head of Microsoft Gaming admitted that the company really considers Game Pass as a whole, but from Live Gold came “ very few” people.
