Infiniti is aiming to increase its market share and profitability after five straight years of declining sales. The brand's head of North America has set a goal of achieving a 10 percent increase in sales in fiscal 2024.

The 2025 Infiniti QX80 is described as «the beginning of Infiniti's renaissance» and «a harbinger of the direction Infiniti ultimately wants to take the brand». The new generation of this flagship SUV is expensive, with prices reaching six figures.

Unlike some competitors, Infiniti currently offers an ICE-only lineup with no EVs or hybrids. Craig Case, group vice president of Infiniti Americas, believes there is “still room in the market for ICE vehicles based on segmentation and registration data,” adding that Infiniti will continue to evaluate the situation and make decisions based on consumer preferences».

On all-electric vehicles, Keyes noted that Infiniti is content to not follow the lead of other automakers who «have invested heavily in electric vehicles over the past two years», which he called & ;laquo;burning funds».
