That's it, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is no longer the sole king of autonomy. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra showed exactly the same result in the PhoneBuff test

A couple of generations ago the gap was quite noticeable

The authors of the PhoneBuff channel again pitted the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra against the iPhone 15 Pro Max, only this time they tested the autonomy.

Apple flagships in recent years have been distinguished by their excellent battery life, but it turned out that in this generation Samsung did no worse. Literally no worse: the smartphones, as you can see, completed the test almost simultaneously. The difference of 2 minutes of screen time with a total time of almost 12 hours can clearly be omitted.

If you look at the comparison between the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Galaxy S23 Ultra on the same channel, we will see that the previous flagship of the Korean giant was very close to its competitor, but still lagged behind (11 hours 6 minutes versus 11 hours 44 minutes), but in a pair of Galaxy S22 and iPhone 13 Pro Max, the first lagged behind the second much more (9 hours 16 minutes versus 12 hours 6 minutes).
