Some brands were able to improve their position
In April 2024, sales of Chinese cars in Russia showed a decrease compared to March. Only a few brands from the Middle Kingdom were able to increase car sales compared to the previous month. Experts from Otkritie Bank came to this conclusion based on the research conducted.
The leader of the Chinese automobile segment, Haval, sold 14.6 thousand cars in April, which is 10% less than in March. At the same time, the compact crossover Jolion remains the bestseller of the brand with a result of 6.1 thousand cars sold (-5% compared to March). Other Great Wall Motor sub-brands, including Tank, saw their April sales fall by 8%.
