Sony itself no longer releases anything on PS4
So, Microsoft has finally named the games that will no longer be exclusive to Xbox and PC and will appear on third-party platforms. We have already heard the names from various leaks, but now it is confirmed and there are release dates for each.
Pentiment from Obsidian will be released first on PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. This will happen on February 22, that is, tomorrow.
Next, the rhythm action game Hi-Fi Rush will be released on PS5 on March 19, and pre-orders launched today.
April 16, a survival game from the same Obsidian called Grounded will be released on PS4, PS5 Switch. The first set of exclusives will close with Sea of Thieves, which will be released on PS5 on April 30.
By the way, the situation is quite interesting, also because Sony itself has already stopped releasing new games on PS4, regardless of their technical resource intensity. But Microsoft, as we see, will release two of its exclusives on the old generation PlayStation.
Recall that Phil Spencer recently said that these four games will be a test of the pen, but so far he is not ready to say that other games will follow the four. However, in general, he also said that he does not rule out the possibility of even exclusives such as Starfield being released on third-party platforms in the future.
