These will be redesigned versions of Jetour X90 Plus and Jetour X70
More Chery cars will appear in Russia: sales of cars under the Soueast sub-brand will start in the fall of this year — «Autoreview» reports this. The distribution of the new brand will be handled by Jetur Motor Rus, and this is logical, since the Soueast models for the domestic market will be converted versions of Jetour crossovers. In general, both Jetour and Soueast are part of Chery Automobile.
The first model, the Soueast S09, will go on sale in October. Under this name, Russians will be offered a clone of the Jetour X90 Plus. But there will be two powertrain options: pure gasoline and hybrid.
A month later, Soueast S07 (this is already a clone of Jetour X70) will begin to be sold in Russia. This model will be offered only with gasoline engines. A clone of the Jetour Dashing called Soueast S06 will appear in early 2025, and it will be available in three versions: with a gasoline engine, as a hybrid or as a pure electric vehicle.
In the future, the Soueast E07 and Soueast E05 sedans (they will be taken from Chery’s own range), the compact front-wheel drive crossover Soueast S05 and the mid-size crossover Soueast S08 will appear in Russia.
