The premiere of the DFSK 500 crossover from Dongfeng took place in Russia. Orders for the car are already being accepted, but official prices have not been announced. According to Auto.ru, the price of the car will range from 2 to 2.3 million rubles.
In terms of price, the DFSK 500 will compete with the Solaris HC (Hyundai Creta), Belgee X50 (aka the first generation Geely Coolray) and the GAC GS3 introduced yesterday. Length and wheelbase of DFSK 500 — 4385 and 2655 mm respectively, ground clearance — 191 mm.
The DFSK 500 is equipped with a naturally aspirated engine with a power of 116 hp. and variator, drive — only the front one. The suspension is simple: McPherson struts at the front, torsion beam at the rear. The basic version is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, leather interior, heated front seats, air conditioning, rear view camera, media system with 7-inch screen.
