Chevrolet has unveiled the 2025 Chevrolet Suburban and 2025 Tahoe. The most obvious changes are visible at the front, where a Silverado EV-style fascia has been added. The larger daytime running lights are housed in gloss black housings. Standard on all models is a high-gloss black grille, and some trims have unique textures up front—like the Z71's black mesh and High Country Galvano chrome trim.
The sporty RST and the flagship High Country now offer massive 24-inch wheels as an option. Overall, the new Tahoe and Suburban look the same as before. But there are more changes inside. Every trim comes standard with a new 17.7-inch touchscreen and 11.0-inch digital instrument cluster. A redesigned instrument panel improves visibility. The gear selector (previously a set of buttons on the center console) is again located on the steering column. The console has also been slightly redesigned, and a power armrest with hidden storage underneath returns to the range as a gimmicky option.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto remain, and the electronics package also includes some new features. Towing is reportedly made easier with a new app that takes into account the length and width of the trailer to estimate the path when turning and driving forward, monitoring the health of your trailer's tires, and a boat launching guide that provides step-by-step instructions. The cloud-connected camera system provides owners with a live video feed via a smartphone app.
The 2025 Suburban and Tahoe come standard with automatic emergency braking, lane-centering technology, blind-spot monitoring, front and side pedestrian detection and adaptive cruise control. Additionally, the advanced Super Cruise driver assistance package will be available on LT, RST, Premier and High Country trims – previously only offered on the latter two trims.
A sophisticated rear-seat monitoring system sensitive enough to detect heartbeat and breathing patterns is standard. There is also an internal chamber.
Chevrolet's proven 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel will now be offered in Z71 trim in 2025, with the automaker saying many of its customers wanted the efficiency and smoothness of the inline-six engine, as well as the capabilities of the off-road package. What's more, the Suburban and Tahoe now get a high-performance diesel version that produces 305 hp. The 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V8 petrol engines remain unchanged.
Chevy says the 2025 Tahoe and Suburban will have more responsive handling thanks to a retuned steering system and an updated multi-link rear suspension.
Prices for the 2025 Suburban and 2025 Tahoe have not been disclosed.
