A few days ago, the developers updated the Elden Ring files on Steam, preparing the place for the upcoming expansion.
As one of the players noted, until now the company has made this step about two months before the release of new content. At the same time, the company published the first trailer for the expansion.
“The Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree trailer should be shown this week and the expansion will be released in about two month, that is, probably in mid-March. Both DLCs for Dark Souls III were updated ~2 months before release, and the trailer came out the day after the update.”
