Hades has captured the hearts of many players and Supergiant Games is bringing back the roguelike franchise with a new installment. Someone will play before others
The Supergiant Games team has opened a call for applications for testing the new roguelike Hades 2. A technical test is going to be conducted ahead of the launch in early access.
Applications can be made via the Hades 2 Steam page here, with plans to gradually launch for players wanting to experience the game. It was immediately stated that everyone who wanted to take part in the test would not be allowed to take part in the test.
This testing includes the first large game area, as well as several characters and mechanics available at the initial stage of the game. Saves will not be transferred.
Supergiant Games introduced Hades 2 system requirements (for testing):
- OS: Windows 10×64.
- CPU: dual-core, 2.4 GHz.
- GPU: 2 GB, DirectX 12+.
- RAM: 4 GB
The launch of Hades 2 in Early Access is expected in the second quarter of 2024, there is no more exact date yet.
Hades 2 will be the first sequel in the history of the Supergiant Games studio, in the game description on Steam they indicated that: “[the developers] took only the best from the original rogue-like game, to bring you an all-new, fast-paced adventure that can be replayed over and over again. Enter the underworld of Greek myth and discover how witchcraft began“.
