Australian ARB converted Isuzu D-Max into a motorhome
The Isuzu D-Max pickup truck is sold in many countries (including Europe), but it was turned into a brutal motorhome in Australia – This was handled by a local company, ARB. They didn’t install the finished body on the frame; in general, they didn’t touch the basic structure.
A tent was installed on the roof (one of three available: ARB Esperance with a rigid frame and ladder, the universal ARB Flinders and ARB Simpson III with a ladder and an extension), which is connected to the cargo compartment of the ARB Ascent Hardtop Gullwing Canopy.
The ARB Slide Kitchen module was placed in the cargo bed, which housed a gas stove, a portable sink and drawers for storing small items. For an extra charge you can order a refrigerator and an awning awning. You can improve your off-road abilities with a «toothy» rubber.
Equipment, apparently, was not touched: diesel engines of 1.9 and 3.0 liters with a power of 150, 160 and 190 hp are available for the Isuzu D-Max. Gearboxes – 6-speed Japanese Aisin, manual and automatic. The drive is, of course, all-wheel drive. So you can travel far with such a motorhome, and even over rough terrain.
