But there will also be a purely gasoline version
At the official Russian premiere of SWM crossovers, they announced a completely new model for Russia — SWM G03F. The car will go on sale in the summer and will be offered in two versions: pure petrol and hybrid. The latter, according to the resource «Chinese Cars», may turn out to be the most affordable hybrid in Russia from among those officially presented on the market — with a price of up to 3 million rubles.
In China, the SWM G03F is called Big Tiger, but this name is unlikely to be due to the design of the machine. And certainly not in terms of dimensions: they are 4605 x 1815 x 1810 mm with a wheelbase length of 2780 mm. The maximum is Middle Tiger.
In terms of technology, everything is very simple: a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine produces 110 hp, and it is combined with a manual gearbox. Moreover, it is 5-speed. Of course, no all-wheel drive. The picture is complemented by drum brakes even in the top version. In equipment — sunroof, leather interior, keyless entry, all-round visibility system, built-in video recorder and media system with a 7-inch screen.
The hybrid is called G03F EDI, and although it is plug-in, it is very far from many modern Chinese hybrids. The power plant is sequential: the wheels are driven by a 143-horsepower electric motor, powered by a traction battery with a capacity of 8.8 kW·h, and the traction battery is charged by a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated engine with a power of 102 hp. Power reserve on pure electricity — only 46 km.
Both the hybrid and gasoline versions can be either 5- or 7-seater. The hybrid has a little better equipment: rear disc brakes, instrument panel – with a 7-inch screen, and a media system with a 10.25-inch display.
