As Autonews reports, sales of the Peugeot 508 L will soon begin in Russia. One of the capital’s dealers spoke about this. The car will be brought from China.
The Chinese Peugeot 508 differs from the European one in its stretched platform, as indicated by the letter L in the name. The length of the car reaches 4.8 m, in this parameter it is comparable to the Toyota Camry. The French sedan is produced by the Dongfeng-Peugeot joint venture.
The car, like a number of Peugeot cars already supplied to Russia, is equipped with a digital dashboard, a media system with a large screen, and a multifunctional steering wheel of a distinctive design. Armchairs — with Nappa leather, heating, ventilation and massage.
Peugeot 508 L is equipped with a 1.8-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 211 hp. and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Russian price of the car has not yet been announced. According to Autonews, the Peugeot 508 L will have a two-year warranty (as will the Peugeot 2008, 4008, 5008 and Citroen C5 X).
