Versions with “mechanics” and “robot” differ minimally in price
In Belarus they started selling a new budget sedan at the price of a Lada Vesta. The car, of course, is Chinese — This is Dongfeng Shine. In the basic version with a manual transmission, the sedan costs 52.5 thousand Belarusian rubles (1.484 million Russian rubles), the price of the version with a «robot». Getrag — 54.5 thousand Belarusian rubles (1.540 million Russian rubles). For comparison: a Lada Vesta in the Comfort configuration costs about 45 thousand rubles in a neighboring country, but the Dongfeng Shine is larger, more powerful and better equipped.
Dongfeng Shine is based on the CMP platform of the PSA concern (the Citroën C4 and Peugeot 2008 are also built on it). The dimensions of the sedan are 4670 × 1812 × 1490 mm, wheelbase — 2680 mm.
