Export Director of the Iranian company SAIPA, Mansour Abtahi, in an interview with Sputnik, announced the company’s intention to supply various vehicles to Russia through a Belarusian distributor.

In addition to passenger cars, the company plans to supply Zamyad frame pickups, SAIPA Diesel trucks, as well as SAIPA-151 and SAIPA-251 passenger pickups to Russia.

SAIPA is also considering the possibility of selling spare parts for the aftermarket in Russia. Negotiations are currently underway on the supply of components for the initial equipment of Russian-made cars.

If SAIPA successfully enters the Russian market, the company also plans to organize local assembly of its cars.

Recall that the Russian distributor of Iranian cars SAIPA, LLC «Best Motors», abandoned its plans to sell these cars in Russia. The founders of «Best Motors» decided to liquidate the company.
