True, without battery
Portable game consoles are becoming more and more popular, but they are not PlayStation or Xbox. And sometimes projects appear where a home console is turned into a portable one. This is exactly the project that the authors of the DIY Perks channel implemented, turning the PS5 into a conditionally portable device.
They had already done this before, but for the new project they used the updated PS5 Slim, which made the final solution even more compact.
The authors’ project itself is quite difficult, since they actually made a new cooling system with their own hands.
The resulting device cannot be called compact. Firstly, there was a need for a place for a rather massive CO, and secondly, not the smallest display was used. So, in the end, this is an analogue of a laptop, not a portable set-top box. But it’s still quite possible to take such a console with you on any trip. True, unlike the same laptop, the console does not have a battery, so you can only play near an outlet.
