No Windows 12 this year ? Microsoft has confirmed that it is preparing a huge Windows 11 24H2 update

by alex

It will be released in the second half of the year

It looks like Windows 12 is not worth waiting for this year after all. Microsoft has confirmed a major update to Windows 11 24H2 coming later this year.

Of course, this does not directly prohibit the release of Windows 12, but it is still unlikely that Microsoft would release both a major Windows 11 update and a new OS at approximately the same time. However, they may well announce Windows 12 this year.

Windows 11 24H2 will be very important in any case, both for Microsoft itself and for users. It is in this version that many new AI-related features will appear, which some sources attributed to Windows 12. This version is also expected to have more expanded support for hardware NPU units, which are found in some modern mobile processors from Intel and AMD. < /p>
