Similar cars won 16 of 24 races in the DTM championship in 1992
A dealer from Vladivostok published an advertisement for the sale of the iconic sports car Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II. Car number 489 (only 500 copies were produced) belonged to Italian racer Cesare Perdiza.
Now the sports car is up for sale in the Netherlands, but a Russian dealer is ready to bring the car to the country for 49.8 million rubles. For comparison: in the Netherlands they ask for 399,950 euros for a car — this is approximately 39.5 million rubles.
At one time, the Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II was so successful that it won 16 out of 24 stages in the 1992 DTM series. Under the hood is a 2.5-liter Cosworth engine, modified by Mercedes-Benz and producing 235 hp. — at 31 hp more than the standard 2.3-liter Cosworth.
