This car is expected in Russia
Once upon a time, one of the cheapest cars in Russia was the Dawoo Matiz, and in the future, the FAW Bestune Pony may secure this title. It was previously reported that this car has a chance of getting Russian registration, but now the car has been officially presented in China.
FAW Bestune Pony turned out to be very cheap, it is even cheaper than the local hit Wuling Hongguang Mini EV at the start of sales. Cost «Pony» — from 3.7 to 4.4 thousand dollars.
The dimensions of the FAW Bestune Pony are 3000 x 1510 x 1630 mm, wheelbase — 1953 mm, ground clearance — 130 mm. The car is designed for four people. In equipment — air conditioning, one airbag (driver only), ABS, rear parking sensors, digital instrument panel.
One motor, power is 27 hp. The capacity of the traction battery in the basic version — only 9.4 kW·h, power reserve— 122 km (CLTC cycle). In the top version — traction battery with a capacity of 13.9 kW·h, and the range— 170 km. The maximum speed is 100 km/h.
It is unknown when FAW Bestune Pony will appear in Russia. The price will obviously be higher than in China, but still this car has every chance of becoming the most affordable on the market.
