Nintendo Switch doesn't give up! Great results from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Legend of Zelda and other games

Nintendo presented its results for the last quarter. Many are waiting for the announcement of the successor to the Nintendo Switch, but the Japanese giant's latest financial report shows that the company still has time.

The Nintendo Switch sold 139.36 million units, and gamers bought 6.9 million consoles in recent months (up from 8.22 million in the previous fiscal period). The OLED model was the most popular (3.47 million, 50%), followed by the first Switch (2.15 million, 31%) and Lite (1.28 million, 19%).

The hybrid console is getting closer and closer to the Nintendo DS (154.02 million). The latest report also confirms that Nintendo Switch Online sales have increased. The device has recorded over 1.2 billion sales since launch.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder sold 11.96 million copies, making it the fastest-selling game in the series, ahead of New Super Mario Bros. Wii in the first quarter of market presence (10.55 million). Super Mario RPG scored 3.14 million in six weeks, and Pikmin 4 added 720,000 units over the Christmas period (3.33 million in five months, the series' best-selling title).

  • Pokemon Sword/Pokemon Shield – 26.17 million,
  • Pokemon Scarlet/Pokemon Violet – 24.36 million,
  • Super Mario Party – 20.34 million,
  • The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – 20.28 million (second best-selling part),
  • Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe – 17.20 million

The company plans to maintain the appeal of the system and promote future Mario vs. exclusives. Donkey Kong and Princess Peach: Showtime.
