Philips introduced the Philips Evnia 49M2C8900 monitor, which is equipped with a 49-inch QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels. It boasts a 32:9 aspect ratio and 1800R curvature. The monitor supports a 240Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth and 0.3ms GtG gray response time.
The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified, delivering 250 cd/m2 brightness in full-screen SDR and up to 1000 cd/m2 in HDR in a window that occupies 3% of the display area. The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and features four 7.5W DTS Sound speakers.
The monitor is equipped with SmartImage gaming mode, which optimizes screen settings for various types of games, improving contrast, sharpness and color reproduction depending on the specific game genre. There is an Ambiglow ambient lighting function.
The equipment includes two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4. The USB-C port supports display input and supports up to 90W of power. The monitor also features a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub with 5Gbps transfer speed.
