Doug Cockle, who voiced Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher video game series, has shared theories about what could happen in The Witcher 4.
Kokl emphasized that he knows nothing about the plot that CD Projekt Red is preparing. But he believes that the developers will move away from Geralt and Ciri will come to the fore, becoming the main character of The Witcher 4.
Cockle cited The Witcher book series as justification for his opinion. as well as in-game episodes with Ciri in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
“They're not going to focus on Geralt. That's what they said, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what they focus on. I have ideas, but they don't end there. The best theory I've heard, because it actually makes sense, is the theory that they will focus on Ciri and her adventures in some form or another. Because, spoiler alert, in the books Ciri travels between dimensions and between worlds. This is one of her abilities, and she does it a bit in the game. So I think it would be very interesting for The Witcher 4 to focus on Ciri's adventures.”
CD Projekt is still keeping quiet about The Witcher 4 and what it is. The game will be CD Projekt Red's next big project.
