The budget sedan Geely Emgrand has been on sale in Russia for three weeks now. The Chinese Cars resource conducted a survey of dealers and found out that not all versions are popular. More precisely, the cheapest versions are the most unpopular.
The thing is that the first two trim levels, Standard and Comfort, come with a manual transmission, and the other two – with the classic Aisin automatic transmission.
“ The manual transmission no longer has the same demand as it once did. We didn't even order cars with manual transmission. But this does not mean that we will not bring mechanical Emgrands if there is an appropriate order. Everything can be resolved ,” said a representative of one of the dealerships. He also added that if you order a car with a manual transmission now, it will arrive in December at best, and most likely already at the beginning of 2024.
A representative of the Klyuch Auto Omsk dealership confirmed the words of a colleague about the unpopularity of configurations with “mechanics”. According to him, now the maximum configuration of Emgrand, priced at 2.479 million rubles, is in demand.
