Some characteristics were declassified by the Geekbench benchmark
Tecno is apparently working on a successor to its folding model Phantom V Fold. The new product will obviously be called Tecno Phantom V2 Fold; it was previously spotted in the IMEI database, and now it has appeared in the Geekbench benchmark. Thanks to this, some characteristics of the upcoming device became known. Tecno Phantom V Fold was released in March last year, so it is possible that the release of the next version is just around the corner.
In the Geekbench database, the Tecno Phantom V2 Fold smartphone goes by model number AE10. The specifications include a motherboard codenamed XYZ-MARS, and the processor configuration includes one core clocked at 3.2 GHz, three cores clocked at 2.85 GHz, and four cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. It can be assumed that the new folding smartphone will receive the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC, like its predecessor.
Geekbench data also revealed that the Tecno Phantom V2 Fold will be equipped with 12 GB of RAM (there may be versions with a different amount of RAM). The operating system is Android 14 out of the box. Nothing is known yet about the other characteristics of the new product; the benchmark only publishes test results: 1273 points for a single core and 3844 points for a «multi-core» test.
