«Autostat» provided interesting statistics on car sales in Moscow in 2023. In total, over the past year, Muscovites purchased 152,375 new passenger cars, and this is an increase of 56% in annual terms. The most popular car in the capital was the Geely Coolray – it sold 12,400 units.
The top 3 model ratings also included Haval Jolion (8737 units) and Chery Tiggo 4 PRO (6139 cars sold).
The brand rating also looks interesting. Lada is in the top 5, but only in fourth position with 9,472 cars sold. Obviously, Muscovites prefer foreign cars. In second place after Geely (24,678 units, 16% of the market) are Chery (20,748 units) and Haval (16,638 units).
