AMD is also reportedly doing something similar. It was assumed that AMD would abandon the Diffused in Taiwan marking only for products for the Chinese market.

It turned out that the change is relevant for all processors, an AMD representative gave the following comment:< /p>

“In 2023, AMD removed country labeling from all new processors and APUs to align with the labeling process for our other products.”
