Sales of a truly budget TV, the TCL 2024 Thunderbird 5 SE, have started in China: it does not have 4K resolution and a frequency of 120 Hz, but the price — only 125 dollars.
The TV is equipped with a VA panel with Full HD resolution and a frame rate of 60 Hz. There is support for HDR10, but there is no data on the color gamut. The hardware platform is based on a SoC with a quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 CPU. The TV boots up in just 2 seconds, there are two HDMI 2.0 ports and one USB-A.
