Muscovites last year used chargers for electric vehicles three times more often than a year earlier, as stated in the Telegram channel of the capital’s Department of Transport.

«You began to use city electric charging stations almost three times more often than in 2022. Here are some statistics for the past year: the number of electric charging stations in the capital increased to 240, there were 3 times more users, with an increased number of electric charging sessions and a fleet of electric vehicles, we were able to maintain an optimal load level — 10%», — says a message from the Moscow Department of Transport.

«The number of electric vehicles in the capital is growing, and we continue to develop the infrastructure for them. Since the launch of the «Moscow Energy» project in 2020, users recharged at traditional charging stations more than 300 thousand times. We will come to one of the world leaders in the use of electric transport — this task was set by Mr. Sergei Sobyanin», — added Deputy Mayor of the capital Maxim Liksutov.
