The United Aircraft Corporation rolled out the next Il-96-300 fuselage to the final assembly shop at the Voronezh aircraft plant VASO, announcing that the production rate of Russian wide-body Il-96-300 airliners has increased to two aircraft per year.< /p>

«All these are significant events for us, – noted VASO production manager Evgeniy Romashin. – The work continues, and in accordance with the IL-96 production program, plant divisions are manufacturing parts and assembling units for the following machines».

This year, units of another Il-96 should arrive for final assembly. Both aircraft will be delivered to customers in 2025. The last time UAC produced two Il-96s was in 2012, after which it produced one aircraft, and not every year.

Until 2030, the United Aircraft Corporation must deliver 12 Il-96-300 passenger airliners. Most likely, they will be operated in the interests of government departments.
