MTS AiCar will work for the domestic auto industry
Russian telecom operator MTS created the company «MTS Aikar» with an authorized capital of 10 million rubles. The new company will become MTS’s own design bureau for the development and implementation of electronics for the automotive industry; it will be part of the MTS Auto division. It is known that «MTS Aikar» will develop design documentation and software for the production of automotive electronics — they will be used at the plant in the SEZ «Technopolis Alabushevo».
The MTS group said that the new company will become the scientific and technical center of MTS Auto, performing the functions of a design bureau, laboratory and pilot production. In addition, the division will search for alternative solutions and technologies in short supply in the Russian and Asian markets. Services «MTS design bureau» will be provided to enterprises of the domestic automotive industry, including engineering, prototyping, provision of technical documentation and more. And in the future, perhaps, their own vehicle platform will be created; for this they will organize their own pilot production, as noted at MTS.
