Hackers leaked the full source code of Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) online in December 2023 after stealing the GTA VI source code in September 2022. The source code was reportedly sold for $50,000 before being leaked online. Now, third-party developers are trying to use this code to port GTA V to platforms such as Android, Linux and Nintendo Switch.
As gizmochina writes, development is still at an early stage. Currently the game can only be downloaded on these platforms, but there is a lot of work to be done to ensure the game runs without errors.
