Sony's 2024 flagship Xperia, which will be released under the name Xperia 1 VI, has already been certified by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which indicates an imminent announcement.
Meanwhile, the website sumahodigest published rumors about the possible characteristics of the camera, which were published by an unknown source on the Chinese forum Weibo:
- Main/standard camera: 48 MP, f/1.9, 24 mm, 1/1.35;
- Ultra-wide camera: 12 MP, f/2.2, 16 mm, 1/2.5;
- Telephoto: 12 MP, f/2.3, 85 mm, f/2.8, 125 mm, 1/3.5.
Previously, a verified leaker stated that the Xperia 1 VI will feature a 2K display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, which is different from the 4K display with a 21:9 aspect ratio of its predecessors. The dimensions of the phone will be 162 x 74.4 x 8.45 mm, and the display dimensions— 149.6 x 69.4 mm.
The new smartphone is expected to retain the 3.5 mm jack.
