Mercedes-Benz Citan clone: ​​seven-seat compact MPV Nissan Townstar Evalia presented

Nissan presented a new passenger version of its Townstar compact van under the revived name Evalia. The seven-seater modification is built on the basis of the long-wheelbase «heel» and is actually a converted clone of the Mercedes-Benz Citan.

The extended wheelbase of the Nissan Townstar Evalia is 3100 mm – 384 mm longer than the standard version. The cabin is available in five- or seven-passenger configurations with power-adjustable and fold-flat seats in the second and third rows.  

In the seven-seater version, the trunk volume is 500 liters, and the maximum capacity with the rear seats folded reaches 3750 liters. The compact van also has many niches and compartments for storing small items.   

The Townstar Evalia powertrain lineup includes a 1.3-liter turbo engine producing 130 hp. for the gasoline version and an electric motor with output of 122 hp. paired with a 45 kW•h battery for an electric version with a range of 265 km.
