Artificial intelligence is actively capturing new markets. According to recent forecasts, in the coming years, most PCs will have AI support.

IDC analysts predict that by 2027, 60% of all PCs shipped will support AI in hardware. This means that the processor or SoC will have a dedicated unit for working with AI.

Now such a unit is available in Ryzen 7040/8040 and the latest Intel Meteor Lake processors. It is likely that most new CPUs that will be introduced in 2024 will also have a corresponding module. Also due to hit the market this year is the Snapdragon X Elite SoC for Windows PCs, and the platform also has an AI engine.
