Technically this is an outdated platform
MediaTek introduced the Dimensity 6300 single-chip system for low-cost smartphones.
The manufacturer himself says that the new SoC provides 50% greater GPU performance compared to alternative competitor platforms. Moreover, these same competitors are not specified, and MediaTek’s statement should be taken with a fair amount of skepticism.
The thing is that Dimensity 6300 is technically almost no different from Dimensity 6080 and 6100 Plus. There are the same two Cortex-A76 cores, six Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali G57 MC2 GPU. And the point is that Dimensity 6080 itself was a renamed Dimensity 810 platform, that is, Dimensity 6300 is almost the same.
Perhaps they added support for 108-megapixel cameras and slightly improved the modem. Everything else is the same: 6 nm process technology, support only UFS 2.2 memory, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2. It is completely unclear which competitor platforms such a solution should provide a 50% increase, but Dimensity 810 and Dimensity 6100 Plus score about 420,000 points in the same AnTuTu benchmark.
