Lada Largus has become almost entirely Russian, but at the same time has doubled in price

Compared to September 2021, the price has increased by 2.15 times

Yesterday the production of Lada Largus was restarted in Russia, and prices were announced at the same time: 1.66 million rubles for the passenger version, 1.67 million rubles for the van. Resource «Lada.online» brought prices for this model after restyling (but before the imposition of sanctions), and it turned out that in less than three years, the car doubled in price.

In September 2021, the Largus station wagon cost 769 thousand rubles, and the van — 774 thousand rubles. Increase in price — 2.16 times. It’s interesting that both then and now the commercial version is more expensive than the consumer version.

Of course, such an increase did not come out of nowhere: firstly, production was moved from Tolyatti to Izhevsk, and secondly, AvtoVAZ had to import a lot of components (if until 2022 there were 760 domestic parts in the car and 830 imported, now the share of domestic components is about 1400, and machine localization reaches 90%).
