The recording speed is a little short of 13 GB/s
Sabrent has introduced the SSD Rocket 5, which can claim the title of the fastest solid-state drive in the world.
The new product, of course, supports the PCIe 5.0 interface. Sabrent's own tests indicate that read speeds can exceed 14 GB/s, but write speeds fall slightly short of 13 GB/s.
Maximum speeds will be available for the 2 and 4 TB versions, while the 1 TB version will be slightly slower: 13 GB/s read and 9.5 GB/s — for recording. As for performance, for older models the figures are stated to be 1.4 million IOPS.
It is known that the new SSD is based on the Phison E26 controller and the latest Micron memory.
