The car is supplied as a parallel import, but not from Europe
Konstantin Zarutsky, known in RuNet under the nickname AcademeG, tested a Peugeot 4008 taken from the press park in a new video. It turned out that such cars are sold in Russia with a warranty of 2 years or 100 thousand km. Cars are brought from China, supplied by the company «Automotive Technologies» — the same one that is working on the restart of the Kaluga plant «PSMA Rus», where Peugeot and Citroen cars were previously produced.
The cost of Peugeot 4008 is 4.3 million rubles. The car is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo engine producing 170 hp. and automatic 8-speed Aisin transmission. Drive — front, but there is a circular selector for switching driving modes (including with ESP disabled). Wheelbase «Chinese» 55 mm longer than the European car (in Europe the car is called Peugeot 3008), due to this there is more space in the back seat.
The Peugeot 4008 is equipped with a digital dashboard, a media system with a large screen, a panoramic roof, a multifunction steering wheel, adjustable in two directions, climate control, adaptive cruise control, and an all-round visibility system. It is interesting that the standard navigation system in Russia does not work, although there is even a special key on the panel to activate it.
