The cost of “rework” is 130 thousand rubles

The fact that craftsmen in Russia install automatic four-speed transmissions from Toyota on Lada cars is no longer a secret, but «automatic» from Nissan to Lada Vesta — something new. The Krasnodar company was involved in replacing standard manual transmissions with Japanese Jatco RE4F03B automatic transmissions.

В России на Lada Vesta начали устанавливать японский «автомат» Jatco. В ближайших планах оснащать этой коробкой передач «Москвичи»

Jatco RE4F03B was once installed on the Infiniti G20, Nissan Altima L31, Maxima A33, Maxima A34 and Teana J31. This reliable transmission is compatible with engines up to 3.0 liters and torque up to 280 N·m. Considering the characteristics of Lada Vesta engines, the reserve in volume and torque is twofold.

As the director of the company said, there are plans to equip the liftback JAC J7 and «Muscovites». Warranty for the installed gearbox — 20 thousand km or 1 year. The cost of replacing a manual transmission with an «automatic» on Lada Vesta — 130 thousand rubles.
