This week in Russia they revealed the cost of the Jetour T2 SUV, which aims to compete with the Tank 300 City, and today a new version of this car was presented in China. Jetour Traveler JMK Stargazer is a slightly more off-road version of Jetour Traveler – due to 20-inch wheels with off-road tires. But in fact, this car can be considered as an expeditionary version of the Jetour Traveler/Jetour T2.
Often such tuning in China ends in nothing – the car was simply shown to the public, and that was all, but JMK Stargazer – this is a production model. Its cost is exactly 31 thousand dollars, the volume of the first batch will be 3000 units.
Jetour Traveler JMK Stargazer received a power bumper (it would be logical to see a winch on it, but for some reason it is missing), the air intake was moved higher, it goes out onto the hood. 20-inch wheels «shod» off-road tires size 255/55.
A multifunctional platform was installed on the roof, and «stairs» were installed on both sides of the back. with mounting of additional boxes. By the way, there is also a box on the back door lid. The rear bumper is also new – reinforced, rear lights received protective covers.
Inside the car has remained virtually unchanged, but the equipment has expanded. For example, an additional satellite communication module has appeared (it allows you to make voice calls).
Under the hood of the Jetour Traveler JMK Stargazer there is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with a power of 254 hp, it works in conjunction with a 7-speed robotic gearbox. The sixth generation BorgWarner clutch is responsible for all-wheel drive, there is a rear differential lock and six different driving modes.
In China, the Jetour Traveler JMK Stargazer will compete with the Haval Raptor, Tank 300 and the new BAIC BJ40.
