Preliminary maintenance regulations for the Atom electric vehicle have appeared

Maintenance should be carried out once a year or every 15,000 km. Less work than for a car with an internal combustion engine

The creators of the Russian electric car «Atom» We drew up preliminary regulations for its technical maintenance (TO). Planned frequency of maintenance and inspection service — one year or 15,000 km, whichever comes first. The developers of «Atom» note that, unlike cars with internal combustion engines, it will require less recommended work: for example, during the first maintenance, only the cabin ventilation filter needs to be replaced. According to the regulations, it needs to be changed every 12 months or 15,000 km.

At the second maintenance (after two years or 30,000 km), in addition to this filter, it will be necessary to replace the brake fluid and oil in the gearbox. Replacing these fluids is required every two years or after 30,000 km. During the third maintenance (after three years or 45,000 km), it is recommended to replace the battery of the ERA-GLONASS module, but this work is optional and is carried out in agreement with the owner.

The fourth maintenance is similar to the second, and during maintenance 5 (after five years or 75,000 km) the thermoregulation system fluid will need to be replaced. The most labor-intensive in terms of the amount of work will be TO10 (in 10 years or 150,000 km) — you will need to replace the brake fluid, antifreeze of the thermoregulation system, gearbox oil and cabin ventilation filter. The exact maintenance regulations are the creators of «Atom» are going to be approved before the car's release in 2025.
