Both cars were damaged
Xiaomi SU7 cars have already been involved in traffic accidents, but this collision with a Mercedes-Benz sedan quickly went viral on the Internet, since its consequences were much more obvious.
The photographs show significant damage to both cars. Mercedes-Benz has no right headlight, the hood is deformed, the front bumper and air intake grille are broken. The Xiaomi SU7, which suffered the main impact on the right side, had two doors damaged and airbags and curtain airbags deployed.
Xiaomi SU7 belongs to a Chinese influencer under the nickname Big Lizi Qiqili, who said that both cars were driving at a green traffic light, while the local traffic police placed full responsibility on the driver of the Xiaomi SU7.
After the accident, the blogger shared an update on the condition of the car. He said a 911 call was immediately made from the vehicle to confirm the situation. The airbags deployed, but everything in the cabin remained in place, no parts came off. The door handles worked fine and the doors opened without problems.
Both sides escaped without injury. Xiaomi SU7 was taken to the after-sales service center for repair.
